Supergroupe

Asia en 2006.

Supergroupe, ou All-Stars Band, est un terme né à la fin des années 1960 pour désigner un groupe (de rock à la base) formé de musiciens ayant déjà acquis une certaine notoriété au sein d'un ou de plusieurs autres groupes. Il peut s'agir de formations éphémères, où des musiciens actifs dans des groupes à grande notoriété s'associent pour jouer ensemble le temps d'un album ou de quelques concerts.

La chaîne américaine VH1 diffuse une émission appelée Supergroup qui joue sur ce concept en combinant différents musiciens connus.
