Richard Claxton Gregory, dit Dick Gregory, né le à Saint-Louis et mort le [1] à Washington, est un militant américain noir engagé pour la défense des droits civiques pendant la ségrégation. Il a ensuite été écrivain, entrepreneur, comique et acteur.
Il maniait adroitement l'humour pour combattre le racisme et la ségrégation, ce qui fait de lui un précurseur des comiques Noirs, ouvrant la voie notamment à Bill Cosby et Richard Pryor.
