Andrew Michael Spence est un économiste américain né à Montclair (New Jersey, États-Unis d'Amérique), le . Il a reçu le « prix Nobel » d'économie en 2001 avec Joseph E. Stiglitz et George Akerlof pour ses analyses du marché en situation d'asymétrie d'information.
