Prix Pulitzer de musique
Le Prix Pulitzer de musique est une récompense décernée depuis 1943. Joseph Pulitzer avait souhaité dans son testament la création d'une bourse musicale décernée annuellement qui fut finalement transformée en prix à part entière. Le prix est décerné « pour une composition musicale éminente de taille significative par un Américain et dont la première représentation a été donnée durant l'année. »
