"Vingt-cinq pourcent" ou "Vin, cent pourcent"?[modifier le code]
Bonjour, je ne parle pas Francais tres bien... There's some debate on the english article on Achille Talon: does the name of the character imply one or the other, 25% or 100% wine? I vote for the former, since he's not an avid wine-lover. Please, some francophone, shed some light... Merci en avant. Kleuske (d) 6 janvier 2012 à 11:59 (CET)
- Not really a reference. I remember from my schooldays that "Vincent" was always subject to pun on vingt-cent. That was last century, so "dix-neuf cent"-something. Of course no one says vingt-cent for 2000 in the french speaking world. So to me it was always obvious that Vincent Poursan was referring to twenty-hundred, not twenty-5 nor anything to do with wine. But of course, "obvious" is not good enough for wikipedia.
- Obviously, it's just a joke for the author, who used the last syllable of the first name "Vincent" to make a pun with the last name of the character. And i don't think there's something more.--SammyDay (d) 12 janvier 2012 à 17:41 (CET)
